Recently the term United States of south India has become a familiar word as Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala is planning to unite together for benefit of the people of these states as the central government is not showing proper attention and importance towards these citizens, Even though previously these states was were together under the British control and named as Madras Presidency and later after the freedom it was renamed as Tamilagam, but later in the 1952 a man called Potisriramalu started in protest demanding a separate state for the Telugu speaking and later after a serious fasting he passed away which really troubled the central government headed by Jawharlal Nehru faced a heat and there by Madras Presidency was spoiled into 4 states namely, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and recently further Andhra Pradesh was divided into 2 namely Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The interesting fact is South India is the highest tax payers when compared with any other states of the nation, but still due to the lack of proper attention or allocation of the funds in the year budget is very low.
Say for example for every 200rs of tax payed by the below mentioned datas are the ratio of benefits given in return towards the peoples of following states
Karnatanka – 47rs,
Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana – 67rs,
Tamilnadu – 40rs
Kerala- 25rs
So recently these states are planning to reunite again for the benefit of the people and thereby demand for the requirements of the whole south Indian by a Single body called United States of South India. So guys will be it fair or not. Kindly write the comment below.
