The 11th edition of Indian Premier League was opened by Rohit Sharma and Erwin Lewis with bat and by Deepak Chahar opened with ball, Initially the first over from Deepak Chahar was very economical, he just conceded just five runs on his first over and when Shane Watson came in for his second over in which he got the wicket of Rohit Sharma and there by grabbed an early break through for Chennai Super Kings and after that there was a good partnership was building between Surya Kumar Yadav and in a short while Shane Watson shattered Surya Kumar Yadav for 43 runs and Ishan Kishan was dismissed by Imran Tahir for 40 runs, while Mumbai Indians where 113/4 and later Pandya brothers took the responsibility in the middle for Mumbai Indians and some how the Pandya brothers managed to bring Mumbai Indians to a 150 mark at 18.3 overs and Krunal Pandya smacked 17 off Mark Wood over on the 19th over and brought the score to 160/4 and finally they were able to bring 164 and there by set a score of 166 for Chennai Super Kings to register their first victory of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Later the Chennai Super Kings opening Pair, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayadu got of to a good start with Mitchell McClenaghan and in a short while Hardik Pandya dismissed Shane Watson for 16 runs, while Chennai Super Kings were 27/1, in chase of 166, and next Suresh Raina Came and gone just for 4, next Ambati Rayadu, who was dismissed by the debutante bowler Mayank Markande and followed by he scalped Mahinder Singh Dhoni for 5, and next comes the Jadeja, who was also scalped for 12 runs by Mustsfizur Rahman, and later Kedar came and he was there for a while later he had a hamstring injury and had to retire as he was hurt, Chennai Super Kings were struggling to set up a partnership and next Deepak Chahar was bagged for a Duck and there by Mayank Markande grabbed 3 wickets, at this point everyone thought that the game is over, but next comes the Bravo and at the other end Harbhajan tried to grab few runs, but he was also dismissed for 8 runs on a slow delivery from by Mitchell McClenaghan at this point Chennai Super Kings wants 61 more runs off 31 balls, next comes Mark Wood and went back to the pavalion as he just scored 1 run, later Tahir came in somehow managed to give the strike to Bravo, and bravo started to show off his master class by raining sixes and fours all over the Wankhede Stadium and his commitment and confidence towards the game, which he showed and there by somehow managed to bring the score to a gettable score, by the support of the tailender Imran Tahir and he smoked the best death bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan and Mustsfizur Rahman to boundaries and infact he smoked 3 sixes on the Bumrah’s over and later Bravo was dismissed by Bumrah, while the score was 159/9, he scored a tremendous 68 off 30 balls, when Bravo left the crease all the hearts of Chennai Super Kings fans were shattered, while Kedar entered back into the crease it was the last hope for the Chennai Super Kings fans, while 7 required in the last over, every Chennai Super Kings Fans was expecting for a Miracle to happen as we all know Kedar was injured with a harmstring injury, so he can’t run or move towards the ball and in such a situation Mustsfizur Rahman was brought to attack, Kedar left 3 back to back balls and patiently waited for that bad ball and the next ball was scooped for a six by Kedar Jadav, what a short it is, and immediately the next ball was thrashed for 4 and there by Chennai Super Kings Win with a ball to spare, what a nail biting match, at-last it was the confidence and hunger to win, propelled Bravo to showcase such a performance and credits also have to be given to Kedar Jadav, who saved the Chennai Super Kings from such a situation, in-spite of his injury.
